Miaraka means "together" in Malagasy, and that's how we've always seen it. The event production company I co-founded in Madagascar in 2021, built on the idea that culture grows when everyone grows with it. Corporate events, concerts, themed parties, local markets: we bring them to life from concept to execution, and contribute to making the local scene more visible through a good communication, one event at a time. 67 events in, and the best is still to come.

My role
Everything. From the first brief to the last guest out the door. Concept development, production management, on-site direction, communication and team coordination. Also built the brand, created the social media presence, and launched the first platform in Madagascar to spotlight small local events, because growing the scene matters as much as producing great events.

What made it work
We never do the same event twice. Each one is built around what the customer actually needs. Our social media reflects our aim to highlight every actor of the cultural industry. The "What to do" series we created, spotlighting other events in the city, says a lot about how we think: we're not trying to own the scene. We're trying to make it better for everyone.
