Website Redesign · Africultures

Africultures is a Australian-African cultural festival based in Sydney, Australia. With a new edition coming in October 2026, the team needed a website that matched the ambition of the event: modern, easy to navigate, and welcoming to a broad audience. I took on the full redesign solo, on WordPress.

My role

Solo end-to-end website redesign: from restructuring the navigation and improving the user journey to modernising the visual design and content. Goal: make it easier for visitors, vendors and performers to find what they need and take action.

What made it work

A festival website has to do a lot at once: attract visitors, guide vendors through their application, welcome performers, and carry the energy of what happens on stage. Getting the architecture right before worrying about the visuals is what makes the difference.

More Works

If you’re ready to launch, refresh, or reimagine your brand, I’d love to help make it happen.
